Inspired by Mars, Areia imagines a landscape beyond human reach. Its weathered surface evokes terrain shaped by immense time, isolation, and forces unseen. Rather than portraying Mars literally, the work transforms the idea of another world into something physical—a fragment of the distant and unknown brought within reach.
